An Arizona Patient Safety Initiative
As part of our mission to help improve the health status of the people of Arizona, AzHHA places a high priority on patient safety. Through our Safe & Sound initiative, the members of the Patient Safety Steering Committee collaborate on ways to improve patient safety throughout our state. You will find featured here a variety of patient safety initiatives that have been developed and launched through the diligent efforts of AzHHA's Safe & Sound work groups and advisory committees.
5 Million Lives Campaign
The 5 Million Lives Campaign is the largest improvement initiative undertaken in recent history by the healthcare industry. The changes are bold and the goals are enormous.
But, based on the success of the 100,000 Lives Campaign, Institute for Healthcare Improvement partner organizations are confident that the collective spirit of the people and institutions in the U.S. healthcare system will rise to this challenge.
Our patients expect - and they surely deserve - nothing less.
