Preferred Vendor Monthly Spotlight

The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, and its subsidiary AzHHA Service Corporation, are pleased to announce our newest preferred vendor StatPhone.

StatPhone

In 2012, 53,676 patients were “admitted from another hospital” and generated $2,950,642,601 in charges ($8,083,952 a day), Transferring patients between hospitals is currently a time- consuming arbitrary telephone-process that has no outcome tracking or accountability.

StatPhone.com is a hospital’s timely solution to getting the right patients into the right beds.

A sending hospital fills out an online transfer request form and selects preferred destinations. Destination hospitals can view, forward, and respond to requests on any computer, tablet or smart-phone.  These same features are available through voice and key commands on any telephone.

StatPhone.com eliminates most transfer telephone calls allowing destination hospitals to respond to requests faster and sending hospitals can get the right patients into the right beds.

For sending hospitals:

●     One method to access multiple destinations saves your staff’s precious time and energy trying to find a bed

●    Getting acutely ill patients transferred faster increases your physician and staff productivity

●     Monthly transfer reporting tell you what kinds of patients you are transferring and to what destinations

●     No IT installation is required

For destination hospitals:

●     Consistent source of referrals previously lost

●     Customer service tools to accept transfers

●     Real-time service line availability helps capture patients when you can, and doesn’t destroy referral patterns when you cannot

●    Metrics to understand referral patterns and learn where to target your outreach efforts and increase census

●     No IT installation is required
