The Healthcare Institute
AzHHA established the Healthcare Institute (HCI) in 1996 to provide workforce advocacy for its members. The Institute achieved its goals through a community-based advisory board representing the health professions, hospitals, educational program, health professions students, consumers and other healthcare leaders.
HCI's statewide initiative is committed to:
- increasing communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals, educators, regulators and employers;
- collecting and disseminating information related to ongoing workforce redesign activities of healthcare systems; and
- participating in studies that address the healthcare needs of Arizonans and the demands of the state's healthcare systems.
