Arizona Court of Appeals recently ruled on two healthcare related cases. In Glenn H. v. Banner, the court ruled that the county court hotline used by hospitals to authorize medical treatment for non-consenting parents of a minor is not allowed under state law. In the case of Ansley v. Banner, the court ruled that federal law prohibits hospitals from enforcing the healthcare provider liens on AHCCCS patient accounts.
