Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is improving access to specialty care in rural communities through telemedicine. For some time now, Summit Healthcare has been offering specialty healthcare services through telemedicine including tele-ICU and tele-stroke. It was recently announced that our member will also be providing non-emergency services virtually, through their new service, Summit Cares. Summit Cares will be a service that allows patients to see a board-certified physician from the comfort of their own home at any hour for basic healthcare needs. This service will become available to patients later this month. To learn more about Summit Healthcare’s telemedicine programs, click here.
