President and CEO
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, Ann-Marie Alameddin, a third generation Arizonan, brings together members at the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) to advance health and healthcare in Arizona. She is well-versed in bringing people and organizations together not only to exchange ideas but to create the power of the collective to achieve desired results in driving positive changes in the healthcare delivery system.
Since joining AzHHA in 2015, Ann-Marie has held executive roles in which she focused on providing strategic leadership and legal counsel. In April 2019, she became the president and chief executive officer. Under Ann-Marie’s leadership, AzHHA uses the statewide platform of a hospital association to help drive improvements in Arizona’s healthcare system. This includes policy and advocacy work, as well as grant-funded programs that support emergency preparedness, retain the nursing workforce and improve maternal health in Arizona.
She was recognized by AZ Business Magazine as one of the 100 most innovative healthcare leaders in Arizona for 2025. For her work during the COVID-19 response, Ann-Marie was presented with a Health Care Heroes Award from the Phoenix Business Journal and named one of the 2020 Most Influential Women by AZ Business Magazine.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., Ann-Marie went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco with a focus on bioethics and a Juris Doctorate and health law certificate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
