- Identify the warning signs and symptoms of eclampsia
- Initiate immediate emergency management of an eclamptic seizure
- Demonstrate the proper administration of magnesium sulfate as first-line treatment for eclampsia
- Recognize and manage complications of eclampsia
- Initiate fetal monitoring and evaluate fetal well-being
- Understand the indications for delivery in patients with eclampsia
- Participate in post-simulation debriefing to reflect on team performance, communication and areas for improvement
- Learning objectives:
-
Postpartum hemorrhage - low fidelity simulation using MamaNatalie.
- Learning objectives:
- Understand the importance of completing a hemorrhage risk assessment
