Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association Approves New Board Members

Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) www.AzHHA.org Board of Directors approved 5 new members at its October 27, 2016 meeting. The new members officially took office on November 1, 2016, bringing the total number of AzHHA Board members to 24.

New members joining the Board are:

  • Jim Flinn, CEO, St. Luke’s Medical Center and Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital
  • Rachel Behrendt, DNP, RN, Sr. Vice President, Hospice of the Valley
  • Will Humble, Division Director, Health Policy, Arizona Health Sciences Center, U of A
  • Jack Dempsey, CEO, Little Colorado Medical Center
  • Randy Anderson, CEO, Canyon Vista Medical Center

The addition of the new members is part of the ongoing process of growing the AzHHA Board with a focus on bringing together healthcare leaders with community representation.

“All five of our newest Board members embody the spirit of being able to do more together. We are fortunate to have them share their experience and expertise in healthcare as we strive towards making Arizona the healthiest state in the nation,” stated Greg Vigdor, President and CEO for AzHHA.
