Local healthcare marketing and communications expert to fill new position

PHOENIX — The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association announces Holly Ward joins the team as its new Marketing and Communications Director.
AzHHA is the statewide association for hospitals and healthcare leaders devoted to collectively building better healthcare and health for the patients, people, and communities of Arizona. AzHHA works tirelessly to advance healthcare public policy and to initiate community programs to promote better health.
“As a state hospital association, it is critical to communicate our key initiatives and programs that affect patients and healthcare providers,” said Ann-Marie Alameddin, president and chief executive officer of AzHHA. “Holly’s strategic and tactful history working in the government and private sector will help us communicate not only to our members but to continue to be one of the leading voices on healthcare policy in Arizona.”
A Valley native, Ward started her career working in local television news before transitioning into government sector communications and media relations. Ward’s professional background includes extensive health system media relations, strategic and crisis communications, government affairs, and marketing experience.
