Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix recently announced its new CEO, Amy Gerberry and nursing director, Debbie Swiers. Amy joined the Haven team this week and brings with her 25 years of experience treating and serving those suffering with mental health disorders and their families. Known also for her expertise in eating disorders, Amy has an extensive background in inpatient psychiatric leadership and has led teams and programs in all levels of care in many parts of our country. However, Phoenix is not a new location for Amy. Amy earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Phoenix.  Amy looks forward to remaining in Arizona and collaborating with the professionals in the mental health community with a dedication in providing excellent patient care to those suffering and their families.

Debbie started just last month at Haven as the new director of nursing but brings years of experience to her new role. She is a registered nurse of 31 years and began her healthcare career at the age of nine.  Debbie has had the opportunity to work in all roles of nursing from caregiver to Regional Vice President and in areas of behavioral health, hospice, memory support, assisted living and the hospital setting.

AzHHA extends a warm welcome to both Amy Gerberry and Debbie Swiers.
