With the Thanksgiving holiday this week, all of us at AzHHA wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for our members, partners and supporters.
Our power is in the collective.
It’s because of all of you that we’re able to continue our work to advance health and healthcare in Arizona.
We’re grateful for your support and trust as we work together to explore ideas and take collaborative action at the state capitol, in hospitals and at home to attain the best healthcare outcomes for our community.
Thank you to each and everyone of you. We’re thankful to have you in our corner as we work to attain our goals.

Healthcare Leadership Academy: Last chance to apply!
Applications for the 2025 cohort of the Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA) are due by 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.
- The AzHHA Foundation partners with Creighton University to provide healthcare leadership and management education to employees of AzHHA member hospitals.
Why it matters: This is a unique opportunity to equip mid-level managers with the management and leadership skills necessary to build organizational sustainability and prepare your hospital for the future, while also investing in your up-and-coming leaders to encourage retention and build “bench strength.”
The details:
- Seven months of virtual learning are bookended by in-person sessions beginning in March 2025 and culminating in November 2025.
- The curriculum covers health policy and law, HR, financial management and more.
- The cost of the program is $8,500, which includes all course instruction and materials as well as registration for the AzHHA Foundation’s 2025 Arizona Hospital Leadership Conference to occur in October.
