Back by popular demand, AzHHA will again be providing an informative and educational program for its member Board Trustees and Advisory Board Members. While designed for new hospital trustees, even veteran trustees may want a refresher on key legal and practical issues facing trustees as they serve their hospital and communities. “Trustee 101: A Legal and Practical Toolkit for New (and Not-So-New) Hospital Trustees and Advisory Boards,” presented by Sam Coppersmith, partner with Coppersmith Brockelman PLC in Phoenix, on Wednesday, October 24th, from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain Resort in Marana. This program will be held in conjunction with the Association’s Annual Leadership Conference, October 24-26th. A discounted conference rate is available for Trustees and Advisory Board Members! This session will address major issues facing Board members today and going into the future, as well as offer an intimate stage for dialogue, peer networking and engagement. Early-bird registration ends August 31st.
