2021 Annual Report

Dear Hospital and Healthcare Leaders,

As we conclude another year of unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19, our healthcare workforce has remained nimble and responsive. AzHHA continues its focus on listening to your healthcare system challenges and developing solutions - from securing hospital payment increases of $1.4 billion, actively pursuing legislation to protect Arizona hospitals, to developing grant-funded programs to serve emergency preparedness needs to patient safety and quality programs.

We are your advocates for sound health policy giving Arizona hospitals a voice to build better healthcare and health for our communities. Our 2021 Annual Report provides a snapshot of the work we have done
with you, our valued hospital and healthcare members. While we celebrate the “wins” of 2021, we know there is a lot of work ahead. AzHHA remains focused on helping you find solutions for staffing shortages and workforce resiliency. We are stronger together and have a great impact on improving healthcare for our patients and communities of Arizona. Together we look forward to navigating the challenges ahead and creating a more resilient and nimble healthcare system that meets the needs of Arizona.
