Jim Hammond has 37 years’ experience in the payor-provider field of healthcare administration in Arizona. He has employment and consulting experience with payors and providers of all types, including health systems, AHCCCS plans, commercial health plans, physician groups, IPA’s, hospitals, and value-based networks.
Jim operates his own consulting firm, Professional Healthcare Solutions, LLC. PHS offers services in the fields of strategic planning, payor-provider contracting, value-based care, and up-to-date public speaking.
He has been an active member of Arizona Healthcare Finance Management Association for more than 25years. Jim was recently awarded the HFMA Medal of Honor for his commitment to continuing education and connecting the healthcare community. He is a frequent speaker on managed care topics, presenting recently to Trinity Health, AHCA, AzHHA, HFMA, Beach Fleishman, The Harvard Club, and MGMA audiences.
Jim also publishes The Hertel Report, a news and data organization that is the source that connects the Arizona healthcare community.
