Tell U.S. Senator Martha McSally why it’s important to support health systems in the next COVID-19 relief package!
Arizona hospitals and healthcare heroes are selflessly working to treat the patients in their communities during this extraordinary time.
The latest report from the American Hospital Association details the immense financial strain facing hospitals and health systems due to COVID-19. The report estimates the financial burden will continue through at least 2020, with total losses estimated to be at least $323 billion by the end of the year.
Now is the time to urge Senator McSally to include the following broad provisions in this legislative package:
- full loan forgiveness for Medicare accelerated payments,
- at least $100 billion for the Provider Relief Fund,
- more financial support for caregivers and expansion in healthcare coverage,
- elimination or further delay of the Medicaid DSH cuts,
- maintaining the increased FMAP rate, and
- a requirement that CMS withdraw MFAR.
