Scholarship opportunity: 2026 Arizona Hospital Leadership Conference
Through the Creighton University Emerging Leader in Healthcare Scholarship opportunity, two scholarships will be awarded to selected applicants to cover registration for the 2026 Arizona Hospital Leadership Conference, Oct. 21-23, 2026, at the El Conquistador Tucson, a Hilton Resort.
What does the scholarship include?
The scholarship will assist with registration, travel and accommodation expenses for the conference up to $2,500.
- Conference travel will be reimbursed.
- Conference registration and hotel accommodation will be managed by AzHHA.
- Meals will be provided as part of the event.
Who is eligible for the scholarship?
This scholarship supports emerging and dedicated professionals working in underserved healthcare settings to attend this premier statewide event.
Applicants must meet all the following qualifications:
- Currently employed at an AzHHA member hospital or healthcare organization that services an underserved population or system (e.g., rural, safety net, community health or resource-limited environments).
- Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare.
- Demonstrated strong leadership potential and a commitment to improving health outcomes.
- Be nominated by a supervisor, manager or organizational leader, with a supporting letter of recommendation.
- Have not previously attended the Arizona Hospital Leadership Conference.
- Not a current participant in AzHHA’s Healthcare Leadership Academy.
- Commit to attend the conference in full (starting 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, through 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23), with a room reservation available beginning on Wednesday night, Oct. 21.
The goal is to promote leadership development, professional growth and the exchange of innovative practices among healthcare professionals across the state of Arizona.
