Clinical Leadership Certificate Program

AzHHA is partnering with Creighton University’s College of Professional and Continuing Education to offer a Clinical Leadership Certificate Program. We’re proud to continue to help bolster leadership at healthcare organizations across Arizona. This new iteration engages both nurses and other non-nursing clinical leaders.

The Clinical Leadership for Change & Culture Certificate, A Human Approach to Leading Teams, Systems and Change, is a 10-week program designed for emerging clinical leaders ready to step into high-impact roles.

About the program

This program bridges the gap between foundational management and visionary, people-centered leadership. Throughout eight modules, participants will explore core transformational leadership theories and systems thinking to confidently navigate the complex, interconnected networks of modern healthcare organizations. The curriculum emphasizes the human side of leadership, equipping participants with actionable frameworks for change management, emotional intelligence and empathy-driven communication to build high-trust teams and spark a deep sense of workplace belonging.

By shifting focus toward organizational well-being, addressing burnout through holistic health strategies, and engaging in structured self-reflection, participants will cultivate personal resilience and design a values-driven professional development plan to lead sustainable, purposeful change in their organization.
