Laura Dickscheid

Vice President of Member Services

Laura Dickscheid brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofit health and human services to her role as vice president of member services for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA). She is responsible for member recruitment, engagement and retention, which includes overseeing the Healthcare Leadership Academy and the Affiliated Partners Program. She also supports the AzHHA Foundation through grant seeking and management as well as corporate sponsorships.

In 2016, Laura joined AzHHA as the grant coordinator for the Arizona Coalition for Healthcare Emergency Response (AzCHER), and moved into the executive director role in 2019 to lead the statewide consolidation efforts. She transitioned to her current position in 2021. Prior to joining AzHHA, Laura spent time in roles that focused on community program investment and fundraising with a specialty in grantsmanship aligning with her passion for community service, visioning and strategy development.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish with honors from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Mo., and a Master of Science in the Science of Health Care Delivery from Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions. She is a graduate of Valley Leadership and also holds certificates in nonprofit leadership and management, business contracts and mental health advocacy. Laura currently serves on the board of New Life Center, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
