New offering: Clinical Leadership Certificate Program

Nurse on computer

AzHHA is partnering with Creighton University’s College of Professional and Continuing Education to offer a Clinical Leadership Certificate Program. We’re proud to continue to help bolster leadership at healthcare organizations across Arizona. This new iteration engages both nurses and other non-nursing clinical leaders.

The Clinical Leadership for Change & Culture CertificateA Human Approach to Leading Teams, Systems and Change, is a 10-week online program designed for emerging clinical leaders ready to step into high-impact roles. The program bridges the gap between foundational management and visionary, people-centered leadership.

The July 2026 cohort runs from Monday, July 6 to Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, with two hours of engagement each week and facilitator-led discussion boards weekly.

Any Arizona healthcare facility licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services that hires registered nurses can apply. Participation is voluntary, and there is no cost to join. The program is open to:

  • Nurse and clinical managers and assistant managers
  • Charge nurses and unit-based leaders
  • Clinical educators and professional development practitioners
  • Directors of nursing
  • Clinical service line leaders
  • Clinicians preparing to transition into formal leadership roles

If you’re interested in signing up for the program or if you have additional questions, please email ttpprogram@azhha.org. The deadline to register for the July 2026 cohort is Monday, June 29, 2026.
