The big picture: This will be an inspirational gathering of more than 200 hospital and healthcare executives seeking opportunities for continuing education, meaningful discussion and relationship building.
This year’s conference theme is “Arizona hospitals: Commitment to care.”
AzHHA is proud to announce a new Arizona voter engagement initiative, Your health. Your vote.
Why it matters: The decisions made at the Arizona Capitol and on Capitol Hill have a direct impact on healthcare in our state.
As the champion for healthcare leadership in Arizona, AzHHA believes it is important to provide resources that help our members encourage informed civic participation.
AzHHA has an Arizona Voter Toolkit available for members to serve as a practical, nonpartisan resource.
The toolkit includes ready-to-use social media content, employee and community messaging, voter resource links, election planning tools and a communications timeline to support voter education efforts throughout the election cycle.
The big picture: Members are encouraged to use the webpage and toolkit to help support voter readiness in their organizations and communities.
Arizona hospitals: Commitment to care public awareness campaign
AzHHA has launched a public awareness campaign Arizona hospitals: Commitment to care.
Why it matters: This campaign highlights the essential role hospitals play in caring for patients, supporting local jobs, strengthening communities and protecting access to care across Arizona.
The big picture: Arizona hospitals are more than buildings.
They are the teams, services and support systems that keep communities healthy, strengthen local economies and ensure care is there when Arizonans need it most.
This effort is designed to strengthen public trust by highlighting the people who make healthcare possible every day.
Arizona's statewide primary is Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
The mail window has closed, but you still have time to vote.
Why it matters: This election either decides or narrows the field for November, and the candidates who advance will help shape the policy environment that hospitals and health systems navigate daily.
Yes, but: Officials recommended mailing ballots back by Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
That window has passed.
A ballot mailed now may arrive too late to count, so don't mail it.
The hard deadline: Every ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Postmarks don't count.
Holding an early ballot? Hand-deliver it to:
Any official drop box. Many are open 24/7.
Any early voting location or vote center in your county.
Your county recorder or elections office.
Prefer to vote in person:
Early in-person voting runs through Friday, July 17, 2026.
On Primary Election Day, locations are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone in line at 7 p.m. can still vote.
Bring a valid photo ID. Many counties, including Maricopa, use vote centers, allowing you to vote at any location in your county.
For independents: Arizona's open primary lets you participate. When you check in, request a Democratic or Republican ballot.
Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) reports were recently sent to our CAHs.
Why it matters: This webinar will highlight areas for improvement and identify areas that need additional support.
Arizona ranked 13th in pass rates for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) at a 89.9% rate for first-time, U.S.-educated candidates.
The figures come from newly released data in the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s annual “NCLEX Examination Statistics.”
The report covers the 192,916 first-time, U.S.-educated candidates who took the RN licensure exam between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2025.
Of those, 167,272 passed.
The NCLEX-RN is the gateway to RN licensure, making pass rates an early signal of the pipeline health systems depend on to fill bedside vacancies.
